To me,
writing is freedom, and when I’m in the flow, it’s almost as natural as breathing! I have produced well over 3,000 published stories in the areas of sports, travel, people features,
business, food, and charitable events. Throughout the process, writing has been a welcome companion at dozens of varied scenes and settings. When in town, I alter my venues
depending on the weather. If warm and
pleasant, I take my paper and pens to just about any local or state
park. When it's iffy, I head to
a library or coffee shop. The only
recent change is that WiFi now allows me to work inside on my laptop. In any case,
phone and in-person interviews have also combined with exploring and
writing in 49 of 50 states, all but three Canadian provinces, western Europe, the
Caribbean, and a loop driving trip to Mexico City.
